2022 in Review (and what you'll see in 2023)!

Updated: Jan 5

As we reach the precipice of the year that was 2022 and prepare to take the free-fall plunge into the unknown that is 2023, this is the perfect opportunity to look back at a few of our favorite moments from the former and preview a few of our plans for the latter.

Obviously, that means Brewzaplooza and the Beermingham Invitational Brewing Competition.

Our event VIPs were entertained in “high style” by our generous sponsor, Elyton Hotel, atop their historic venue in Moon Shine, a most delightful and accommodating rooftop bar. The inaugural Brewzaplaooza VIPre- party was a hit!

VIPs were also treated to a pop-up concert at our event partner, Seasick Records (along with hot pizza and cold local beer!).

The Chinese Zodiac sign for the span of time comprising February 1st, 2022, to January 21st, 2023 is the Water Tiger. But for Yellowhammer Brewing, in the Beermingham Invitational, 2022 was, no doubt, the year of the Electric Tiger, specifically the Electric Tiger Framboise. This was the beer that took the prize for best in show.

Congratulations to Yellowhammer for yet another strong performance in our competition (the Randolph Winston Lambic won best beer in 2021).

And as always, our Brewzapalooza "Wrap Party" featured our award ceremony, great vendors, outstanding food, incredible music, and delicious local beer!

So as we bid adieu to 2022, here’s a little glimpse of what you’ll see in 2023:

  • The Collaborative is also "gearing up" with some extra-special offerings for our inaugural membership drive.

  • We're also launching a special music series with our event partner, Seasick Records, which will showcase local music talent etc. and, of course, local craft beer!

Many thanks to all of our friends and sponsors who supported us in 2022. We look forward to wowing you with even bigger and better things in 2023. PEACE!
